Choosing the Right CVA

With so many rifle options on the market, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with information. When you start with the basics, it can make your decision a little easier.
What is the intended purpose of the rifle?
Are you big game hunting, is it for target practice, competition shooting, predator control…or a combination of all of these?
Break action or bolt action?
We have multiple caliber choices in both platforms, again it falls into intended purpose. A single shot break action may be exactly what you need for taking a kid hunting, or for having a handy rifle on the tractor or in the truck for days at the farm. The stainless models are a take down rife whereas the blued finish is not. Some caliber options come with a removable threaded muzzle brake and others have a removable thread protector for adding your suppressor. The adjustable cheek riser and length of pull spacers make these little rifles very handy for whatever pursuit you put them through.
A bolt action on the other hand gives you quicker follow up shots without having to reload.
The Cascade line of bolt action rifles is broken into a few categories, the standard Cascade, Cascade XT, the Varmint Hunter and the Long Range Hunter. Each of these categories offers upgrades or fit and feel options, with multiple caliber offerings. Are you shooting suppressed and want a shorter barrel for that purpose, check out the Cascade SR, or suppressor ready. Do you prefer a little longer barrel for higher muzzle velocities but want some recoil reduction? Look at the Cascade XT, it offers the fluted barrel, tactical bolt knob and a muzzle brake. The LRH and VH both have adjustable cheek risers as a standard, a bit heavier barrel and threaded muzzle brakes as well.
All of the specs on each of our rifles can be found at CVA.com, including barrel lengths, weight, etc. Shopping is easy from there as well, or you can support your local dealer by having them order exactly what you are looking for.
